| 摘 要： | Mobile ad hoc networks (MANETs) are autonomous and infrastructureless networks that support multi-hop wireless communications among mobile hosts. Providing global internet connectivity to MANETs is a strong trend nowadays, so the mobile hosts can enjoy the tremendous services of the Internet. In this paper, we present an asymmetrical approach that uses multiple Internet Gateways to provide MANETs nodes with Internet connectivity and access to the Internet‘ s resources. The rational utilization of all available Internet Gateways can meet the load of MANETs balance and reduce the latency of packets communication between MANETs and the Internet；this can be concluded from the results of the simulation experiments.
