    Abstract:

In order to increase the reaction rate of the heterogeneous Fenton-like,the catalyst FeIII /R was used to catalytically decompose H2O2 under visible light for the removal of Malachite Green (MG) in aqueous solution. The effect of initial pH,initial H2O2 concentration, initial MG concentration and t-butanol on the reaction rate was also discussed. The result shows that the visible light can enhance the degradation of MG.The experiment of t-butanol shows that the ferryl iron and hydroxyl radical coexist in the system.Repeated use of catalyst does not decrease the removal rate of MG.
