Bio-hydrogen production technology as a renewable energy production technology mainly includes dark-fermentation,photo-fermentation,photolysis of water and the combination of dark-and photo-fermentation. The screening of strain,forms and regulation of process and forms of coupling are important to high efficient,continuous and stable hydrogen production. This paper summarizes the development of current bio-hydrogen technology,analyzes the problems in its theoretical and technical studies,and introduces the application prospect of bio-hydrogen technology.
