    Abstract:

    A 2-D direction of arrival(DOA) estimation method for wideband signals is proposed for the advantage of Y-shaped array.Based on the coherent signal-subspace method(CSM),focusing matrix is computed by expanding steering matrix.Furthermore this method adopts ESPRIT algorithm based on subarray and 2-D MUSIC together to improve the estimation precision and to reduce the range of peak searching.Theoretical analysis and computer simulation demonstrate its correctness both for incoherent sources and coherent sources,and the computational effort is reduced remarkably.
